At Monticello:

The Comets record dropped to 10-10 with a five-set match loss to the Panthers.  Bellevue played well in the first and fourth sets they won 25-20, 25-18.

In the middle two sets unforced errors hurt but they could have won either or both of them despite the errors. They had leads but need to learn to finish when in the lead. The same was true in the fifth set 15-13 loss.

 The scores went 13-25, 25-17, 16-25, and 25-12.

The rated Knights used size, great passing,  and kill power  to get by the relentless  Comets.

After the first set, the scrappy Comets  rebounded with a scrappy  25-17 win in set #2.

Early in set #3 they lost a key player to an ankle injury. Senior Giana Michels  rolled up an ankle on a  teammate’s  foot, that slowed the Comets until they adjusted to her loss.
