Once again the Comets played hard and came away with a loss. The Indians beat the Comets in straight sets 25-2, 25-19, 25-22 at Camanche High School.
All three sets were anybody's to win. The ups and downs of the momentum in all three sets went the Indians’ way most critical when they trailed late in the sets.
A very low kill percentage and silly mistakes at critical times flipped the momentum and led to the late scoring by the Indians.

At Goose Lake:
A slow start cost the Comets a sweep in a 3-1 conference match-up played at Northeast High School. Unforced errors in set #1 proved costly in a set that was closely fought right to set point.
The Comets responded with straight set wins in a 3-1 match win. The scores went 23-25, 25-17, 25-22, 25-17 Comets.
Lindsey Banowetz had 19 kills to lead the Comets. Aubrie Hager added 10 kills and Giana Michels eight. Brin Daugherty with help from teammates set a school record with 41-assists.
