 At Wellman:

 Bellevue girls volleyball team ended their regular season with a sweep of the Mid-Prairie Hawks.

 The scores went 25-21, 25-21 and 25-11.

 Playing in the loaded River Valley Conference, the Comets ended their regular season with a 13-12 record  with most of their losses coming to  conference opposition   or rated teams.

 Against the Hawks the Comets used solid serves and 38-kills to sweep the  taller Hawks .

 They held leads  in all three matches and finished  each match with solid play.

   Balance in the front court and fine passing  by the designated players keyed the outcome. Three hitters had 8-or more kills and  the setters did their job.  

 Giana Michels 19-digs, Taylor Wagner 15 and Brin Daugherty and  Lindsey Banowetz 10- each got the offense started.  

Maddie Schmidt  and Banowetz led in kills with nine each. Aubrie Hager added eight, Shayla Oster and Daugherty 4-each.    Daugherty, Michels,   and Taylor Wagner  led in assists.  Michels served 19-19, ace, Wagner 14-15 2 aces, Daugherty and Banowetz 9-10, ace.
