At Goose Lake:

 The Rebels came out to play   and raced out to a 6-0 lead over  the unbeaten Comets. They still held an 8-6 lead after one quarter.

 The Comets finally tied it 11-11 on two free throws by Giana Michels, and then went on a 10-0 run using Lindsey Banowetz’s scoring to lead 21-11. The Rebels made another push and closed to 22-18 at the half.

 Bellevue found their game early in the second half using  a16-4 run to grab a 38-24 lead. The run was keyed by Michel’s 13-points  coming from all over the floor.

 Banowetz led the Comets with 21-points 15-in the 1st half, Michels had 18 points -13 coming in the big second half.

 At Tipton:

Bellevue girls improved to 13-0 with a road win over a big physical Tipton Tiger team.

  The Comets came out and raced out to a 21-2 lead.  The Tigers tied it at 2-2, The Comets then hit nine of ten shots (all assisted) to lead 19-2.

 The lead was 27-8 after one quarter and 34-19 at the half. Nine Comets earned  playing time.

 Seniors   Giana Michels & Alyssa Rubel each scored 10 points in the half.

 The physical Tigers came out and beat up the Comets in the 2nd half. Bellevue kept their composure, played with effort and pushed the lead to 49-30 after three periods .

  Lindsey Banowetz (12-pts), Michels (9-pts)  and Kailey Miller (7-pts) hit free throws that keyed the Comets scoring in the half.

   Their scoring balance led Michels 19-pts, Banowetz  14, Rubel 10 and Miller & Teresa Paulsen 7 each was key to the 68-54 win.

 The youthful Comets hung right with the veteran Rebels early until their size and experience allowed them to pull away and earn a 61-50 River Valley Conference victory.

  At times in the game the Comets were without a player 6’ tall on the court to battle the  veteran Rebels.

 It was a close battle early,  a Paxton Felderman bucket.    tied it 13-13 after one quarter. The Comets hung around and were down 31-25 at the half. However   they were never  able to get their game back in the 11-pt loss.  

 Paxton Felderman led the Comets with 20-pts 11-in the hard fought first half.

 At Tipton:

 Once again the Comets were matched up in the River Valley Conference against a taller, deeper  team.  The youthful  Comet team played with great  effort in another losing battle. They matched  the Tigers until shots quick falling and frustation began to  set in.  The Tigers used their depth to pull away to the big victory.  

 Trevor Hager led Bellevue with 17 points and Trey Daugherty added 10.
