The Bellevue Bread Basket would like to express gratitude to those who contributed to the success of the Holiday Train. We are fortunate to live in a compassionate community, which has a deep understanding of and commitment to the work of ending food insecurity in Bellevue and in the surrounding area.
Thank you especially to the Canadian Pacific Railroad, Bellevue Herald-Leader, Bellevue Police Department, Bellevue Ambulance Service, City of Bellevue and its employees, Telegraph Herald, KMAQ, Santa Claus, Bread Basket volunteers, and those who gave food or cash donations. This collaborative effort helps us to accomplish our mission to provide assistance to people in need and engage our community in the fight to end hunger.
We also extend a huge thank you to Gerry Ernst, who, after 30+ years of service to the Bellevue Bread Basket, has decided to retire. All future Bread Basket donations and correspondence may be directed to Chuck Ernst (12703 283rd St. Bernard, Iowa 52032) or Jayne Schroeder (1103 Park St, Bellevue).
Thanks again for your efforts to feed the next generation with every gift you make!
