A destination business in Bellevue will close on September 3.
A.J. Spiegel, owner of the Off Shore Bar and Grill announced last week that after 9 years in business, the Bellevue eatery on the river will close it doors. He emphasized that the Baymont Inn hotel, as well as the Events Centre, will remain open and fully operational.
“Many considerations went into the decision to close,” said Spiegel in a letter printed in this week’s Bellevue Herald-Leader. “Unfortunately, Off-Shore could not meet some the challenges necessary to remain successful. With much sadness, an unpopular, but necessary decision had to be made.”
Spiegel, who has invested millions in Bellevue over the past decade, expressed his “sincere appreciation” to the customers who supported the business over the years.
