BIDEN CLAIMS VICTORY OVER TRUMP

WHILE JACKSON COUNTY voted overwhelmingly to re-elect President Donald J. Trump. Democratic presidential nominee Joe Biden claimed victory nationally in the 2020 election, denying Trump a second term after a bitter campaign and dramatic, prolonged vote count in battleground states that sparked a flurry of lawsuits. The former Vice President claimed victory last Saturday after the race was called in his favor. Biden allegedly won the battleground states of Nevada and the commonwealth of Pennsylvania, giving him the electoral votes he needed to win the White House. Biden is pictured above at the Jackson County Fairgrounds during a campaign stop last fall.
