The Bellevue High School Class of 1971 held its 50th class reunion on September 18.  A total of 17 classmates attended providing a 68 percent turnout. Rhonda (Weis) Cunningham brought flowers in memory of deceased classmates. The night included the Pledge of Allegiance, electing a new Vice President and Randy Felderman and Gene Morett presenting Janis (Kilburg) Waynick a certificate as the official class historian.  She has been keeping scrapbooks of the class for 50 years.  Gifts were presented to the class president from Janis Waynick, Steve Saddoris and Randy Felderman. Steve also shared four pages of his memories from third grade to graduation.  After a 50-year trivia game, Janis Waynick presented the winners—each classmate—a towel (she made) with tge class motto “Life is a picture, paint it well” embroidered on it. The class of 1971 has held a reunion every five years since graduation.
